Photographer Paolo Proserpio grew up in north Italy. He spends a lot of time travelling abroad in search of subjects. He is specialized in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Central America.
He loves environmental portrait photography.

Now is living in Nicaragua developing personal photo essays about Central American cultures and a project connected with upcycling. He also take photo for Quinceaneras and graduations in remote areas of Nicaragua.

He worked four years with Roma people as a social worker for an italian Foundation.
During this period Paolo drastically improved his communication skills and the common approach with different cultures. He published a reportage on the national magazine LA PRENSA DOMINGO and he is now collaborating with a collective of artisans he co-founded (https://hangahammockcollective.com)

I’m now available for NGO and editorial assignments works (photo & video) in Central America.
